Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and AhtiWeb ("we", "us") when you buy or use a website, hosting, the site builder, or any related service from ahtiweb.com. We've kept them in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask us at hello@ahtiweb.com before you buy.

1. The service

We build and host small-business websites. Depending on the package you choose, either we build the site for you, or you build it yourself with our online editor using our templates and ready-made sections. Your site is served on a free address under our platform domain and, where included, on your own custom domain.

We also offer an optional managed ads service: for a flat monthly fee we set up and manage advertising campaigns in your own Google Ads and/or Meta accounts. You grant us access from inside your own account (and can revoke it there anytime); we never hold your ad-account passwords. Your advertising budget is separate from our fee — you set it and pay it directly to Google or Meta on your own payment method. We don't guarantee advertising results.

A second optional add-on, Ad Insights, adds an advertising dashboard to your portal: it counts visits and contact clicks on your hosted site server-side (no cookies or tracking scripts — details in the privacy policy), shows anonymous averages across AhtiWeb-hosted sites for comparison, and includes AI-written summary reports depending on your tier. The reports are automated analysis of your own numbers, offered as guidance — not professional advertising advice, and not a guarantee of results.

2. Your account

You need a portal account to buy and manage a site. Keep your login details safe; anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Give us accurate information, especially the contact details used for domain registration (they're required by domain-registration rules).

3. Payment

• Pay first. The amounts shown at checkout — your build fee (where one applies) and your domain — are charged when you buy. Your site and builder access are set up immediately after payment.
• Monthly hosting. The hosting plan you pick at checkout is billed monthly through PayPal starting the day you buy, and continues until you cancel.
• Managed ads. The ads service is its own monthly subscription (the management fee only — your ad spend goes directly to the ad platforms) and can be cancelled anytime from your dashboard without affecting your website or hosting.
• Ad Insights. The advertising dashboard is likewise its own monthly subscription, cancellable anytime from your dashboard without affecting your website or hosting — cancelling simply locks the Advertising section again.
• All payments are processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card details.

4. Cancelling & what happens if billing stops

• You can cancel your monthly plan anytime from your dashboard, with no calls and no fees. Your site stays live to the end of the period you've paid for.
• If your plan lapses (cancelled or payment failed), your site is taken offline after a few days' grace. Your content is not deleted. Reactivate a plan and you can publish it again.
• The one-time amounts charged at checkout (build fee and domain) are not refundable once your site has been set up, except as described for domains below.

5. Domains

• Where your package includes a domain, we register your chosen available domain on your behalf. You are the owner on record; we manage it in our registrar account while we host your site. Renewals are handled as part of your plan while it's active. If you leave, contact us and we'll cooperate with a standard transfer.
• The launch price covers standard-priced domains. If you pick an unusually pricey one, the extra is shown in your total before you pay, and you can always pick another and stay at the standard price.
• If we can't register your chosen domain after payment (it can happen; availability is only final at the registry), you pick another at no cost, and any pricey-domain extra you paid is refunded automatically.

6. Your content

• Everything you put on your site (text, images, your brand) stays yours. You give us permission to store and serve it, which is what hosting is.
• You're responsible for what you publish: it must be yours to use and lawful. Template placeholder text is a starting point. Replace it with your real information.

7. Our platform

The templates, section designs, editor and platform code remain ours. Your purchase is the right to use them for your site on our platform, not to copy, resell or redistribute them.

8. Fair use

Don't use the platform for anything illegal, deceptive or harmful, including phishing, malware, spam, or content that infringes someone else's rights. Accounts have reasonable limits (number of sites, pages and images) to keep the platform fast and affordable for everyone. We may unpublish a site or suspend an account that breaks these rules; where reasonable we'll contact you first.

9. Service promises & limits

• We work to keep your site fast, secure and online, using reputable hosting infrastructure. Like every host, we can't promise zero downtime.
• We may improve or change the platform over time. If we ever discontinue a service you've paid for, we'll give you reasonable notice and a fair resolution.
• To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect losses (such as lost profits).

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll post changes here and email account holders about significant ones before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where AhtiWeb is registered. If a dispute can't be resolved by talking to us first (please try; it usually works), it belongs to the courts there.
